About Reservations

Q.Can I make a reservation on the same day?

Web reservations” can be made up to one hour before the reserved time. Please note that reservations may not be available depending on the availability of the restaurant. Reservations can be made by phone only when there is availability on the reservation calendar displayed on the “Web Reservation” page.

Q.What are the reception hours?

The last dressing time is until 4:00 pm. The return time is until 5:30 p.m. It takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to prepare your clothes. The later the time, the shorter the walking time. Please understand this beforehand.

Q.I have not received a reservation confirmation email.

In case of “Web Reservation”, please confirm your reservation from the URL shown in the “Reservation Completion E-mail” delivered at the time of reservation. If there is no reservation, your reservation has not been made. Please make a reservation again from “Web Reservation”. Please note that you may not receive the reservation completion e-mail due to a mistake in the e-mail address you entered. Please contact us using the inquiry form or directly contact the store.

Q.I tried to make a “web reservation” for a reservation for more than 10 people, but I cannot make a reservation.

Please make separate reservations or call us for more information, as reservation slots are limited.

Q.How can I confirm my reservation?

You can confirm your reservation by viewing the “Reservation Completion E-mail” sent to you at the time of reservation or by clicking on the URL provided in the “Reservation Completion E-mail”.

Q.Are pets allowed in the restaurant?

We are very sorry, but we do not allow visitors with pets.
We also do not accept pets.

Q.Can you issue a receipt?

Yes, it is possible. Please let us know at the time of checkout that you need a receipt.

Q.Can I bring my own hairdressing and beauty equipment?

We are sorry. We do not allow visitors to bring in their own barbers and beauty equipment.

Q.I don’t need a haircut, will it change the price?

The amount remains the same with or without haircuts.

Q.Do you offer kimono previews?

We do not accept other than previews of hakama and furisode.

Q.I am considering renting a kimono for a rainy day. What happens if the kimono gets dirty?

We have a system in place to guarantee your kimono/yukata and accessories in the event that they become soiled. Please feel free to use our shop even on rainy days.

Q.What should I do if I have forgotten something?

Please contact the store directly. Please come directly to the store to pick up your order.
Lost and found items are kept for 7 days.

Q.Do you provide early morning service before 9:30 a.m.?

We do not provide early morning service except for graduation hakama (during March) and furisode for coming-of-age ceremony (on Adult’s Day).

Q.I would like to know the type of kimono in advance with pictures.

You can get an idea of the atmosphere from our website or Instagram. We are sorry, but we do not send individual kimono photos.

Q.Do you offer make-up services?

Hair sets are included in all of our plans, but we do not offer makeup services.
Please come after being made up in advance.

Q.How soon should I start wearing fur and stoles/feathers?

Fur is most commonly used from early December to late February, while stoles and feathers are used from November to early March.

Q.Can I purchase kimonos and accessories?

We are very sorry, but we do not sell them.

Q.How long are summer yukata available?

The yukata are usually displayed from late June to early October, with the ratio of kimonos to yukatas changing according to the temperature and weather conditions.

Cancellation/Revision

Q.How do I cancel?

If you have made a reservation on the web, you can cancel your reservation on the web. Please click on the URL in the “Reservation Completion Mail” sent to you at the time of reservation, enter the necessary information, and cancel your reservation. Please note that a cancellation fee will be charged for same-day cancellations.

Q.How can I change my appointment time?

If you have already made a reservation on the web, please cancel it and make a new reservation again. Please click on the URL in the “Reservation Completion E-mail” that was sent to you when you made your reservation, enter the necessary information, and then cancel your reservation. Terms of Use

Q.Can I leave my luggage with you?

We give you a large bag when you come to the store, and you can store your clothes and bags there. Suitcases (carry-on cases) can be stored for a fee of 550 yen.

Q.Do you offer kimono previews?

We do not accept other than previews of hakama and furisode.

Q.Do you offer return by mail?

We are very sorry, but we do not support return by mail.

Q.I am afraid I will not be able to return the same day in time. Can I add a next-day return option?

Next day return option cannot be added after checkout. Please be sure to return the car in time.

Q.Do you accept credit cards?

We are sorry, but we accept cash only.

Q.I applied for the group plan. Can we enter at different times?

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that everyone come together.

Q.Can I add fur or stole options depending on the weather and temperature of the day?

Additional options can be added on the day of the tour. Please feel free to ask our staff on the day if you would like to add an option.

Q.What should I do if I am going to be late for my appointment?

If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late, please let us know.

Q.I will arrive a little earlier than my appointment time. How long before can I come in?

You can come to the restaurant 5 minutes before. If you arrive before that time, you may be asked to come back again depending on how crowded the restaurant is. Please understand this in advance.

Q.How long does it take to return a rental item?

This is only an estimate, but it will take 10 to 15 minutes. The closer it gets to 5:30 p.m., the busier it tends to get, so please allow plenty of time for your return.

Q.What is the maximum height?

Women’s height ranges from 148cm to 175cm, and men’s height ranges from 155cm to 190cm. Zori (Japanese sandals) and geta (Japanese clogs) are also available in larger sizes, but the size range differs depending on the store.

Q.Can I add options?

Even if you have not selected an option at the time of reservation, you can add it on the day of your visit. Please feel free to ask our staff if you wish to do so.

Q.How long does it take from registration to departure?

The average time for dressing is about 1 to 1.5 hours, including the time for the reception, choosing kimono and accessories, and changing luggage. During busy seasons, we recommend that you allow about an hour. Please consider this as a rough estimate only, as it depends on the time you take to choose your kimono and accessories. The best available time is 9:30 in the morning, as this is the time when we have the largest number of kimonos in stock.

Q.Is there anything I should prepare?

However, in the cold season of fall and winter, you may want to bring warm underwear such as HEATTECH. We also recommend a body warmer.

Q.Is baggage storage provided?

All plans come with free baggage storage. We will give you a large bag when you arrive, so please store your clothes and bags there. Suitcases and baby carriages are available as an option (550 yen).

Q.Is it available for pregnant women?

Kimonos and yukatas are available for customers who are in the stable period. Kimonos and yukatas are worn with an obi and waist cords that are tightened around the stomach and waist, so they may feel tighter than regular clothes. Please let the dresser know that you are pregnant when you are dressing, and try to dress a little loosely.
We do not recommend the use of pregnant women for safety reasons. We are not responsible for any unforeseen circumstances.

Q.What are the return times?

The last return time is by 5:30 p.m.

Q.Is the hair ornament included in the set?

Hair ornaments are included in all plans and can be added in any quantity.

About Plans/Options

Q.Do you offer kimono previews?

We do not accept other than previews of hakama and furisode.

Q.Is next-day return possible?

Available. The next day return option is available for 1,100 yen, and the next day return option for Furisode/Hakama is available for 3,300 yen. Please return directly to the store by 12:00 p.m. on the day following the day of use.

Q.What time do I have to return the next day option?

We ask that you come directly to the store by 12:00 p.m. the next day to return your items. We do not accept returns by mail.

Q.I want to wear Hakama. Can I use the group plan for more than 3 people?

Not available. Please use “Hakama Plan” for Hakama and “Furisode Plan” for Furisode.

Q.Are group rental plans available for children?

Girls must be at least 148cm tall/boys must be at least 155cm tall. Adults’ kimonos are available for rent, not children’s kimonos.

Q.I am a woman but would like to wear a man’s kimono.

Please make a reservation with the Men’s Plan or with the Couple Plan if you are two people and one rents a women’s kimono and the other rents a men’s kimono, or with the Group Plan if you are a group of three or more people.

Q.Is the Student Discount Plan available for junior high and high school students?

Available. Please bring your student ID card on the day of the event. No need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

About Bringing Your Own

Q.Can I bring high-necked innerwear and gloves?

It is possible. If you wish, please feel free to ask our staff on the day.

Q.Can I bring my own boots?

You may bring your own boots. Please let our staff know on the day of your visit.

Q.Can I bring my own hair ornament?

It is possible. If you wish to have it done, please feel free to ask our hair staff on the day of your wedding. (Please note that we do not accept hair ornaments that require us to create the design, such as mizuhiki hair ornaments.

Q.Can I bring my own kimono?

If you bring in your own yukata and use our half-width obi, we can accommodate you within the regular plan price. Depending on the number of guests and the situation, please make reservations using the “Kimono Full Set”, “Student Discount Plan”, “Group Rental Plan”, or “Couple Plan”.
Bring your own Furisode and Hakama will be charged at 19,800 yen (tax not included).We do not offer dressings other than yukata/furisode/ hakama.Please select “Bring Your Own Kimono 19,800 yen” in the menu when making a reservation on the web and describe the details of your bring-your-own kimono in the “Contact Information” section.

*Please note that any other kimono fitting other than yukata/furisode/ hakama will be invalid.

About Kimono

Q.Do you deal in lace or antique kimonos?

All of our popular lace kimonos and antique kimonos are the same price. The price will not change depending on the type of kimono or yukata you choose. *Hakama and Furisode are not included.

Q.Do you offer men’s hakama?

We do not offer men’s hakama.

Q.Do you offer hakama for elementary school students?

We do not offer hakama for elementary school students.

Q.Do you offer kimono for children?

We do not offer children’s kimonos, but girls over 148 cm in height and boys over 155 cm in height can use the adult kimono plan. Children under the above height cannot use this service. However, rental is available for Shichi-Go-San (the Seven-Five-Three-Three Festival) kimonos.

About the preliminary inspection

Q.Do you offer kimono previews?

We do not accept other than previews of hakama and furisode.

Q.Have you previewed hakama for graduation or furisode for coming-of-age ceremony?

It is possible. Please make a reservation by selecting “graduation hakama preview” or “adult kimono preview” in the web reservation menu. Please note that reservations made outside of the above times will be invalid. The pre-viewing time is limited to 30 minutes. We do not make reservations over the phone or make changes to kimonos.

  • We do not offer kimono or yukata for children, except for the Shichi-Go-San plan.
  • Only yukata, furisode (long-sleeved kimono) and hakama (traditional Japanese male dress) are accepted. No other kimonos will be accepted.
  • About the bring-your-own fee

    Please select "Bring Your Own Kimono" for Furisode and Hakama in the "19,800 yen (tax not included)" menu for each.

    The "Next Day Return Option" cannot be added after checkout. Please add it at the time of reservation or before checkout.
